KATA Teacup&Saucer Hakuro

KATA teacups and saucers are made using a special technique that produces an eggshell porcelain which is light and thin like paper. The thinness allows light to pass through, and the bottom has a cut-out in the shape of a tea flower.
The cups have a hemispherical shape that allows the color of the tea to be seen clearly and pairs well with the teapot, adding to the experience of drinking tea.

Hakuro, meaning "white dew," is the name given to these teacups. They are simple, pure white porcelain teacups that gleam like dew in the morning sun.
